US Embassy Edtech Programme 2014

This Saturday I head to the United States to participate in a two week study trip with a number of other participants from Ireland and Northern Ireland. I have decided to dust off this blog address to use as a journal of the trip. The programme is focused on Science and Technology and on building relationships between Irish, Northern Irish and US entrepreneurs and educators.

It is supported by the US State Department and managed by a Baltimore based organisation called Cultural Vistas. The itinerary takes in Washington DC, New York, Seattle and Boston. Needless to say I am pretty excited about being selected to participate and I am looking forward very much to meeting my co-participants on Saturday and to the amazing opportunities the trip will undoubtedly open up.

I will try to post regularly over the next two weeks on the different meetings and visits to schools, projects, companies scheduled for the trip as we criss-cross the North American continent….a hopefully less chilly environment than in recent days!
